# Configure webhooks

> Send Bold events to an external system through HTTPS requests.

**Webhooks** let another system receive a notification when a supported event occurs in Bold.

**Path:** **Control panel > Webhooks**

## Create a subscription

<Steps>
  <Step title="Prepare the receiving system">
    Obtain an HTTPS URL that can process the event.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create the subscription">
    Click **Add subscription**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure delivery">
    Enter the **URL** and select the event.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the subscription">
    Click **Create**.
  </Step>

## Check deliveries

Open the **Notifications** tab to view the event, date, version, status, URL and sent payload.

  The receiving system must validate message authenticity and respond correctly. Do not include sensitive data in a destination URL.
