# Query data and perform tasks with AI

> Use AI to query data, analyze situations or perform a task.

Use AI to query data, analyze a situation or delegate a specific task. Configure the task according to its complexity and the level of review it requires.

## Recommended workflow

**Path:** **Smart Factory > Tasks**, or open Boldy's chat.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select the intelligence level">
    * **Low:** use it for direct queries and brief summaries. It uses fewer credits.
    * **Medium:** use it for regular queries, such as checking stock or order status.
    * **High:** reserve it for complex tasks that require several steps or combining data from different areas.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Define the question or task">
    Specify the affected item, sales or purchase order, manufacturing order, period, customer, resource or module.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Define the scope">
    Decide whether you want only an answer, an analysis or an action that creates or changes data.

    Write your request specifying **which data you need** and **which response you expect**.

    * **Query:** “What is the available stock of item A-102 in the main warehouse?”
    * **Analysis:** “Summarize the unplanned stops for MO 1045 and indicate the total time lost.”
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure execution">
    Choose the task's **Visibility** and **Work mode**. Use **Read only** if Boldy should only query data. Select **Allow changes** only if it should act on your behalf. Attach files if the task needs them.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check permissions">
    Ensure your user can access the necessary data and actions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the sources">
    Check the response against related records, reports or documents when the decision matters.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Audit the result">
    Review the history, inputs used and actions performed.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Write a clear request

Include the necessary operational context:

* exact period;
* items, customers, suppliers or orders;
* the decision you want to make;
* real constraints, such as date, capacity or supplier;
* expected format, such as an action list or summary by priority.

<Warning>
  Do not delegate critical changes without reviewing the result. AI helps speed up analysis and tasks, but the team retains operational responsibility.
</Warning>
