# Create locations

> Represent physical points where stock is stored, received, consumed, or dispatched.

**Warehouse locations** represent the physical places where Bold controls stock. You can use one location or detail warehouses, aisles, shelves, docks, and work areas.

**Path:** **Warehouse > Locations**

    Click **Create new warehouse location**.

  <Step title="Enter the name">
    Enter a clear, recognizable **Name**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the location">
    Click **Create**.

In the location details, you can view stock by item and lot. To correct a quantity, use an adjustment or stock count. To transfer materials, record a movement.
