# Save changes to the progress record draft of an operation

> Merges the header, input and co-product lines sent and keeps the others. Creates the draft when the operation has none. Fails with a conflict when `draftId` names a draft that was already recorded or discarded, or when a first save has an outdated `progressVersion`. Returns the whole draft. Requires `Production.Orders.Work` permissions
