New featuresImprovementsFixes
Attended operations, unattended operations and waits
- Each process has an Activity type: Process, for productive work, or Wait, for periods such as resting or drying.
- Choose Staff attendance for each station compatible with a process. Attended requires personnel presence, and Unattended lets the machine work on its own. You can change this from the process, from the station’s capabilities or when importing data.
- Each operation takes its execution mode from the activity type and the selected station. When you change the configuration, Bold updates operations that have not started. Started and canceled operations keep their mode.
- In work mode, an attended operation needs an employee to start or resume. An unattended operation does not, and you can stop it with Stop even when nobody is working on it. You cannot start a process without a selected station.
- Waits start automatically when their preceding operations finish, run continuously for their planned duration and finish automatically. You cannot start them manually or pause them.
- Unattended operations and waits do not reserve personnel in production plans.
- Stations no longer have the Complete operations automatically option. Processes that completed this way become Wait activities.
Operation comments
- Operations support formatted comments and attachments. In MO management, view them in Info, below the order notes. In work mode, they have a separate Comments section and are attributed to the active employee.
- The most recent comments appear first. You can comment on completed operations. Canceled operations display their comments but do not allow you to add or delete them.
- Progress recording in work mode no longer includes a comments field. Use Comments to leave observations about the operation.
- The API lets you view, add and delete an operation’s comments.
Improvements
- Control panel > Notifications displays your active subscriptions as cards, with the entity, event, channel and applied filters. Create a subscription guides you through choosing a channel, entity, event and filters. Each card lets you Edit filters or Remove the subscription.
- When editing a subscription’s filters, Bold indicates whether a condition, an AND or OR operator or a parenthesis is missing. You cannot save the filter until it is complete.
- Notifications and webhooks include two new purchase order events: a line was added and a line’s cancellation was undone.
- Operation cards in work mode show the employees working on them. Click or hover over their initials to see their full names.
- In work mode, Materials shows whether each material has sufficient stock, is on its way, with the expected date when known, or is missing.
- Work orders add the Work and Finish permissions. Work lets you complete actions, record time and materials and comment without editing the work order. Completing a work order requires Finish, so review which profiles should have it.
Fixes
- Receipts no longer accept draft purchase order lines. Bold prevents you from adding these lines or receiving a receipt that includes them.
- Deleting a shipment releases its lines’ external references. An integration can then send those lines again in another shipment.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Global search
- Global search (Ctrl+K) brings records, application sections and documentation into one dialog. Only sections you can access appear, and documentation results open in another tab.
- Results include movements, containers, load orders and warehouse counts. You can also find a record by its full identifier.
Stock history
- Warehouse > Stock control > Stock history shows stock changes for all items, with filters for item, location, lot and cause. Query periods of up to 365 days; the default shows the last 7 days. You can also include lot reclassifications.
- The item’s stock tab shows its recent changes. View more opens the history filtered by that item.
- Export data adds Stock history in CSV or Excel format.
Preventive maintenance and work orders
- Preventive schedules support the Weekdays frequency, Monday to Friday, and filters for asset, cause and frequency. Generate now creates a work order immediately, and the Generated orders tab shows each schedule’s work orders.
- Work order actions can be required. You cannot complete the work order while required actions remain pending.
- Each action separates instructions explaining how to perform it from the execution notes the technician adds when completing it.
- Work orders include formatted Comments and attachments. You can add them from Maintenance > Work orders and from work mode.
- An action’s Uses tab shows which causes plan it and which work orders include it. Deleting an action removes it from open work orders where it is still pending and preserves it in the history of work orders where it was completed.
Make to order and customers on manufacturing requests
- Sales lines with Pending or Partially delivered status offer Make to order. The line changes to Make to order and, if the item is manufactured, Bold creates a manufacturing request linked to the order and its customer. The button is disabled when the line already has an active request.
- Manufacturing requests can link to a customer, whose name is used as the requester. Without a customer, the requester is optional free text. Each MO copies the customer and requester from its request.
- Existing requests and MOs linked to sales orders take the customer from the order. Generic Manual, MRP and Stock requester values are removed, so review recipe conditions that compare the requester against those values.
Preferred manufacturing units
- Each item can have a manufacturing unit and a warehouse unit, selected from its alternative units. Manufacturing work mode displays and records quantities in the manufacturing unit. Warehouse views continue to display the base unit.
- Alternative unit equivalences use two quantities, such as
3 cajas = 1 palé, and can be edited. This preserves relationships that cannot be expressed exactly in one direction. The API also accepts equivalences with both quantities.
Formula and notes editor
- Recipe formulas support the
round, ceilandfloorrounding functions from the Round action. The editor supports undo and redo withCtrl+ZandCtrl+Y, and operand suggestions open when you type@. - Notes on work orders, preventive schedules, purchase and sales orders, their lines and manufacturing requests support formatting, headings, links and attachments. Existing records display formatted notes; switch to editing with Edit or a double click.
Features by plan
- Control panel > Subscription shows storage usage and its limit alongside employees, SKUs and locations. Bold rejects file uploads that exceed the plan limit.
- The Features section shows whether the plan includes advanced planning, receipt quality checks, alternative units of measure, multiple lot management, webhooks, advanced logistics and analytics reports.
- When the plan excludes a feature, the application hides or disables its actions. For example, Reports indicates that analytics reports are not included. Previously configured alternative units and receipt checks remain visible.
Improvements
- Import data adds Update cost for items. Use a CSV or Excel file to update planned unit cost and whether cost updates automatically in bulk.
- Control panel > Files identifies the record using each file, links to it and indicates whether Bold manages it.
- Messages in tasks with Boldy and the additional Run now message in automations support up to 30,000 characters.
- The Medium and High intelligence levels use a newer AI model.
- The API reference includes a summary for every operation and groups analytics exports by business concept.
Fixes
- Theoretical manufacturing cost distributes the fixed time of recipe steps across the item’s replenishment quantity, based on its minimum order or lot size, instead of charging all of it to each unit.
- Automatic planned cost recalculation handles concurrent changes in several components of the same item better and no longer records changes when the estimate remains the same.
- Unit conversions round results to the saved precision instead of rejecting quantities with too many decimal places.
- Imports reject unrecognized values in yes/no columns instead of interpreting them as “no”.
- Tasks with Boldy also allow retries when the AI provider is overloaded.
- Long code blocks in Boldy’s responses fit the available width instead of overflowing the conversation.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Complete operation groups
- In work mode, operation groups offer Confirm without completing and Confirm and complete. When you complete the full pending quantity, Bold distributes it across operations according to the plan.
- To complete a group before reaching its planned quantity, enter the final quantity for each operation. You can use zero or exceed the plan, but the breakdown must add up to the group’s final total.
Plan solving modes
- When solving a production plan, or creating one with solving enabled, choose the Solving mode. Basic (fast) finds a feasible sequence using a heuristic. Advanced (optimized) refines that sequence to improve the result and can take several minutes.
- The application initially selects Basic. If you integrate through the API and omit the mode, the server uses Advanced.
Maintenance actions
- Maintenance actions support two new result types: Selection, with options configured on the action, and Signature, drawn on screen.
- You can Undo a completed action from Maintenance > Work orders or work mode. The action returns to planned status, its result and completing employee are cleared, and its notes remain. You cannot undo actions on completed or canceled work orders.
Manufacturing order purchases
- An MO’s purchasing assistant shows all missing purchased materials in one table. The Supplier column suggests each item’s main supplier and lets you select another of its suppliers.
- Bold creates one purchase order per supplier at the same time, with the originating MO identified in its notes. You can then view the created orders in a dialog. Items without a supplier appear dimmed and are excluded.
Improvements
- Manufacturing > Recipes adds the Hide inactive quick filter.
- Item and component costs display two decimal places; the tooltip retains four. Component links open their Costs tab directly.
- Recipe inputs use an icon to indicate whether the material is a Specific item or based on properties.
- The Low, Medium and High intelligence levels use new AI models.
Fixes
- When you leave a partial warehouse movement and return, you can continue from the recorded load and location, even if you skipped pickups.
- During a movement, you can deliver picked material even if the linked need changed or disappeared. Bold reserves only the quantity still needed.
- Planned movement actions are accepted even when you revisit the same location.
- When preparing a load order with lines from multiple orders, each selected line is added only once.
- A manufactured item’s planned cost retains its last value while any recipe input cannot be resolved.
- Tasks with Boldy are no longer marked complete when a response leaves a tool result pending.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Planning assistants
- The purchasing and production assistants let you work only with items procured to stock or include all items.
More capabilities for Boldy
- Boldy can query the official documentation and use more cost, catalog, maintenance, production and warehouse tools when the user and agent have the necessary permissions.
Automatic execution of production plans
- When creating a production plan, choose Create only, Create and solve or Create, solve and apply.
- The solving dialog includes Apply the plan automatically if a solution is found.
Improvements
- Alternative unit configuration explains the conversion factor more clearly, and item creation retains the selected unit.
- Subscription invoice plan lines display the contracted name, such as Plan Lite. Stripe payment receipts include the invoice number so you can relate both documents.
Fixes
- Automations run with the permissions saved in their configuration, even if the permissions of the person starting the run have changed.
- Voice messages sent from Telegram support more audio format variants.
- Deleting a maintenance action also removes it from the causes where it was planned.
- Approved subscription invoices are emailed to billing recipients with the PDF attached.
- MOs no longer inherit external references from recipe elements, so you can create several MOs from the same recipe.
- When recording coproducts in work mode, quantities round to the decimal precision of their unit. The unit appears inside the quantity field.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Alternative units of measure
- The catalog adds unit of measure management. You can define a main unit, alternative units and their conversion factor for each item.
- Sales and purchase orders let you enter quantities in an alternative unit. Bold retains the chosen unit and shows quantities with their unit in planning, production, warehouse and work mode.
Theoretical manufacturing costs
- The planned cost of manufactured items is calculated from materials, labor and machines. Item details separate direct costs from costs inherited from semi-finished items.
Boldy by voice and Telegram
- You can link your account from your profile to chat with Boldy in Telegram. Conversations support images, files and voice messages.
- Smart Factory tasks let you record or attach audio. Bold transcribes the recording and displays the transcript next to the message.
Improvements
- Boldy’s responses in Telegram retain Markdown formatting and display typing status while the response is prepared.
- MCP connections can query Bold concept documentation as context resources.
Fixes
- When releasing an MO, property-based inputs select the family’s only available item even if the recipe retains property values that no longer exist.
- The cost breakdown correctly includes materials with Ignore procurement and keeps direct and inherited costs separate.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Subscription and AI credits
- Control panel > Subscription brings together the main plan, purchased integrations, AI credits and invoices. The Payment method tab shows the current method and lets you change it through the secure Stripe form embedded in Bold. Administrators can also download invoices and complete payments that need intervention.
- The payment method step in administrator registration uses the embedded Stripe form, keeping the user within the onboarding experience.
- Credits included in the plan and purchased credits are shown separately. You can view monthly usage and purchase packs; the purchased balance carries over from one month to the next.
- Smart Factory > Tasks warns when 20% or less of the available credits remain. Administrators can start a purchase from the warning itself.
Assistants and integrations
- You can connect ChatGPT Desktop or Claude Code to Bold through MCP and an API key to query operational information using natural language.
- API lists standardize pagination, search, filters and sorting. The
Expandparameter lets you explicitly request related data, including relationships up to two levels deep when the route supports them.
Improvements
- Recipe conditions correctly distinguish Production order quantity from Requested quantity, display labels in Spanish and validate the formula when you save it.
Fixes
- Receipts correctly display the order and item for pending purchase lines.
- Old recipe version links lead to their current address, and warehouse movements retain their navigation path.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Tasks and automations
- Tasks with Boldy allow retries when the AI provider temporarily has no capacity and explain when credits have run out. Conversations identify each message’s author and display explanations of clarification options.
- Read only automations can update their own memory without obtaining permission to modify business data.
Production and indicators
- Employee activity lets you filter between active employees and employees without an operation.
- Starting or resuming an operation records the responsible employee. Bold uses the employee linked to the user or lets you select one when that link does not exist.
- The production progress log adds pagination so you can view, sort and filter all results.
Fixes
- You can release an MO for an item that does not belong to a family.
- To remove an operation’s last active assignment, you must pause it first, preventing ongoing work from being left without an employee.
- Tasks adapt better to mobile screens, and the load order calendar avoids scrollbars when you drag an order.
New featuresImprovementsFixes
Tasks and automations
- Smart Factory separates Tasks and Automations. You can start a one-off task, choose visibility and intelligence level, and view the history of work with Boldy.
- Automations can run on demand with Run now and an optional additional message. You can also configure Clarification questions and Memory.
- Dashboards moves to Smart Factory, alongside reports and agents.
Recipe applicability
- Recipes are linked to families or specific items, with applicability conditions and priority.
- Items show whether each recipe is Ready, Missing information or Inactive, and which properties are missing to use it.
New features
- In work mode, receipt inspections are grouped by line as Pending inspections for this line.
- Shipments show the associated Load order.
Improvements
- Task conversations show tool status more clearly and explain when the context is too long to continue.
Fixes
- Work mode inspections respect completion order and blocking at receipt.
- Deleting a supplier cleans up its item links and associated purchase forecasts.
