An MO is the work the shop floor needs to do. You create it from a manufacturing request, which states which item you need and how many units. See Manufacturing requests to see how they relate.

Steps

Create the request

Go to Production > Production requests > Add new request. Choose the item, enter a small quantity, for example 5, and save.

Create the MO

Click the rocket icon action, Launch production order. Check that the recipe you activated appears and confirm.
