Units of measure specify how you quantify each item. Configure them before creating items tracked in kilograms, liters, meters or other units that differ from the default unit. Path: Catalog > Units of measure

Create a unit

Start creating the unit

Click Create new.

Enter the code

Enter a short Code, such as kg, l or m.

Enter the name

Enter the Name the user will see, such as Kilograms, Liters or Meters.

Save the unit

Click Create.
You can then select the unit as the main unit when creating an item, or add it as an alternative unit with its equivalence.
Decimal precision is configured for each item, rather than for the unit of measure.
