Review needs

1

Configure filters

Define how Bold should group needs:
  • Production frequency: choose daily, weekly, or monthly according to how you organize launches. This selection adjusts the summary to the chosen period.
  • Include needs up to: enter the last date to include in the analysis.
Extend the horizon to review future needs and assess whether to group identical items in one lot.
2

Identify urgent needs

Review the summary blocks before generating requests:
  • Urgent: gathers needs that already require attention. Review them first.
  • This period: shows needs for the current period.
  • Next period: helps you anticipate work for the following period.
  • Future: shows later needs included in the horizon.
3

Review the most urgent date

The Most urgent column shows the earliest deadline in the group of needs. Compare it with the total Quantity to decide whether to manufacture the entire group or launch a smaller lot first. For example, if the group totals 10 units but some are overdue, you can prioritize that quantity before manufacturing the rest.

The Proposal field is editable. Adjust the quantity to match your usual lot size or prepare additional stock.
5

Check history and forecast

Use the information at the bottom to validate the decision:
  • Previous production orders: compare the proposal with previously manufactured quantities.
  • Stock forecast: review how inventory will change with expected receipts and issues.
  • Consumption history: compare the proposal with recorded issues for the item.
