- Complete shipment: includes all the order’s pending items and quantities.
- Partial shipment: includes only part of the goods, either because of stock availability or a logistics decision.
Record a complete shipment
Path: Planning > Sales orders > Order to shipGenerate the shipment
Click Create shipment at the bottom right.Add the information
Delivery note no.: you can enter the number your company uses or leave it blank for Bold to generate it automatically. Date (optional): specify the delivery note or dispatch date. Shipping location: physical place within the factory from which the goods leave for the customer. Ship immediately: combines document creation with recording the physical dispatch from inventory. It only appears when you select a shipping location. If you disable it or do not specify a location, the shipment is created as Pending so you can review it before clicking Ship.Record a partial shipment

Add a shipment
Destination: select the customer who will receive the goods.Delivery note no. (optional): enter the number your company uses or leave it blank.Shipping location: select the physical place from which the goods leave.

Add the lines
Go to Warehouse > Material shipments > Created shipment and add the items you will ship. A shipment can include lines from different orders addressed to the same customer.Order line: select a pending line.Quantity: specify the units you want to ship.

Record the dispatch
Click Ship to record the physical dispatch of the goods. This action creates stock movements.
