Customers represent the people or companies that generate demand in Bold. Sales orders use them to indicate who requests an item, in what quantity and by when. They also let you analyze demand and fulfillment by customer. A customer can have an external reference if it comes from another system, such as an ERP or CRM.

Register a customer

Path: Planning > Customers > Add new Enter the customer name. Use a consistent naming convention for all records.
Decide whether to use the trading name or legal name and apply the same convention to all customers.
