A stock count compares physical stock with the quantity recorded in Bold. Discrepancies are applied when you finish counting.

Prepare the stock count

Path: Warehouse > Stock counts
1

Create the stock count

Click Create new stock count.
2

Identify the count

Review the proposed Name and change it if needed to identify the stock count more clearly.
3

Add locations

Open the stock count and select the Locations to count.

Count from work mode

Path: Work mode > Warehouse > Stock counts
1

Select the location

Open an active stock count and select the location you will count.
2

Find stock

Search by Family, Item, or Lot. You can also scan the item code.
3

Record the count

Select the correct result and enter Counted quantity. Add a Comment if you need to explain the count.
4

Confirm the entry

Click Confirm.
You can edit an entry while the stock count remains open. At a given location, there should be only one entry per combination of item and lot.

Finish counting

Return to Warehouse > Stock counts, review the entries, and click Finish count. Bold then applies the discrepancies to stock.
Finishing the count cannot be undone. Avoid recording physical movements at the same locations during counting, or work with small, controlled scopes.
