There is no point collecting detailed production, warehouse, and maintenance data if it never gets turned into decisions. Bold’s Analytics module gives you a full Business Intelligence environment: pre-built dashboards for the metrics every factory needs, a custom report editor for everything specific to your operation, and Microsoft Power BI under the hood so you are working with a platform that scales with your ambitions. Everything is accessible from any device, anywhere in the world.

Built-In Dashboards

Bold ships with pre-built KPI dashboards that cover the areas most factories care about from day one:

Production

Track actual vs. planned output, cycle times, line efficiency, and downtime across your shop floor.

Warehouse

Monitor stock levels, material movements, consumption rates, and replenishment needs in real time.

Maintenance

Follow open work orders, mean time between failures, and preventive maintenance compliance.
Each dashboard includes charts, tables, and filters so you can slice the data by date range, production line, product, or operator — whatever angle helps you understand what is happening on your shop floor right now.
Use the drill-down capability on any chart to move from a high-level KPI to the individual records behind it. If output was down on Tuesday, you can trace it all the way back to the specific operation, operator, and time window in a few clicks.

Custom Reports

The built-in dashboards cover the essentials, but every factory has metrics that are specific to how it runs. Bold’s embedded report editor lets you build exactly what you need — with no extra licences, no additional costs, and no dependency on an external BI team.
1

Open the Report Editor

Navigate to Analytics in the Bold sidebar and select New Report. The full editor opens in-browser — no downloads or external tools required.
2

Choose Your Data Sources

Select the Bold modules you want to pull from: Production, Inventory, Timesheets, Maintenance, Quality, or any combination. Bold handles the data connections automatically.
3

Build Your Visualisation

Add charts, tables, KPI cards, and filters using the drag-and-drop canvas. Configure each visual with the fields, aggregations, and formatting your report needs.
4

Save and Share

Save the report to your Analytics library. Share it with specific team members or make it available to everyone in your Bold workspace.
Custom reports you build are yours — they persist in Bold and update automatically as new data comes in. You never need to rebuild or re-export them.

Powered by Microsoft Power BI

Bold uses Microsoft Power BI as the engine behind all its dashboards and reports. This means:

No New Modelling Language

If anyone on your team already knows Power BI, they are immediately productive. If not, the skills they build in Bold transfer directly to the wider Power BI ecosystem.

Microsoft AI Integration

Microsoft is actively embedding AI tools into Power BI for natural-language data queries, automatic insight generation, and anomaly detection — Bold users benefit from these as they roll out.

Enterprise-Grade Performance

Power BI is built to handle large datasets without slowing down. As your factory grows and your data volume increases, the analytics layer keeps pace.

Full Ecosystem Access

Leverage the full Power BI ecosystem — community templates, documentation, training resources, and integrations — without leaving the Bold platform.

Access from Anywhere, on Any Device

Bold Analytics is fully browser-based. Your dashboards look and behave correctly whether you are on a desktop in the office, a tablet on the shop floor, or a phone checking in from a customer visit. There is no installation required and no VPN needed — log in to Bold and your data is there.

Sharing Dashboards with Your Team

Once a dashboard or report is ready, sharing it takes seconds:
1

Open the share settings

Select the dashboard you want to share and open its Share panel from the top-right menu.
2

Choose who can see it

Share with individual users, a department, or your entire Bold workspace. You control whether recipients can only view the dashboard or also edit it.
3

Set as a default view (optional)

Pin frequently-used dashboards to the Analytics home so your team sees the most relevant information the moment they open the module.
If your plant manager needs the same view every morning, share it directly with them and encourage them to bookmark it. Combined with a scheduled AI Agent sending a summary email, they will have their daily briefing covered without opening Bold at all.
